You convince Tony more through sheer tenacity than through logic, and the only reason it works is because there’s a possibility that saving Natasha will give you one more advantage in going after Steve. Either way, you find yourself clinging to the raised edges of the Iron Man suit, one of Tony’s armour-clad arms locked around your waist, as you scan the grounds with your eyes for Natasha and Tony uses the suit to look for her S.H.I.E.L.D. tracer (on the off-chance that she didn’t discard it the day she was recruited).

You’re the one who spots her eventually (“definitely took out the tracer,” Tony mutters), being loaded into a Hydra transport truck on the far edge of the compound. You have a split second’s warning (basically, Tony’s voice in your ear, narrating) and then Tony swoops down low over the transport, drops you in a semi-hidden position, and then settles to the ground nearby and makes a come on, hurry up gesture at you.
