You and Natasha go out ahead to start making your way to the tower, and the Hulk joins you moments later in all his green glory, snatching up Hydra agents (“Hey! I was gonna shoot that one!”) and making sure they end up far away from the scene of battle. You make it farther than you thought - most of the way to the tower - before there’s a sudden burst of reinforcements and an awful lot more gunfire than there was a minute ago and the Hulk throws himself between you and Natasha and the new wave of Hydra guards, signalling at you to go while he holds back the onslaught.
