You have no idea how you’re going to get Tony out of there without the Hulk, but that’s a bridge you can cross when you come to it. Maybe his armour comes off, or hell, maybe you and Natasha can drag him out of there by sheer determination. You have no idea; all you know is that you’ve made it to the tower entrance and Natasha is throwing Hydra operatives down the stairs (you have to leap to one side to duck a particularly violent toss) and you’re climbing and suddenly she puts out a hand to stop you.

“This is the floor. We go right, down this hallway.”

“That’s not right,” Coulson says over the comms, and since when is he listening in? “The tower schematics indicate that you need to go left, based on where Iron Man’s tracker last placed him.”

Great. Who are you going to believe? The teammate who was here with Tony when he was left behind, or the man sitting in front of the computer with all the super secret spy documents?
